About the League
American Dota League is the premiere online Dota 2 league catering specifically to players and viewers from North and South America. Season One featured the ten best teams from the region, both professional and amateur. The aim of American Dota League is to show off the incredible talent in this region, and give the players and teams who are on the cusp of becoming great a chance to prove themselves.

Broadcast and Ticket
The in-game ticket is on sale now and every game will be available in the Dota 2 Client with your ticket purchase. This is one of the best ways to support the league, and every purchase makes American Dota League more sustainable and allows us to produce even more amazing content. In addition each game will be broadcast on Twitch in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.

Season two will again consist of ten teams and have a prize pool of $10,000. The teams will be divided into two groups. Each team will play a single round robin against the teams in its own group. Matches in Group A will be best of three, while matches in Group B will be two-game series. The top four teams from each group will be seeded into a single elimination playoff bracket. Each round of the playoffs will be best of three, with the exception of the grand finals, which will be best of five.

SteelSeries Partners With American Dota League
We are also incredibly proud to be partnered with SteelSeries this season. They make some of the best gaming peripherals and accessories available, and we're genuinely excited to help promote their products. They are helping us out with the prize pool, and we will be giving away SteelSeries gear throughout Season Two on both our English language Twitch channel and social media, so be sure to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook. And finally, make sure you show them some love for supporting American Dota.
